As a developing artist, I wish to occupy the role of a feminist observer and an older sister because both of them can support me with preparing artistic strategies to challenge capitalist exploitation, provide a space for bringing people together, work with commons as the exchange of knowledge, operate with care and contribute to making visible the evidence of everyday life micro-violence against women.
In my essay, I will use the theories by Silvia Federici, Lauren Fournier, Jacqueline Millner and Catriona Moore to contextualize and prove why they are relevant to modern society. I will also reference examples of artistic practices that engage with these roles.
